Lake Creek and its rich riparian habitat cuts through the 42-acre site. Mature ponderosa pine forests define the riparian edge.
The owners of Lake Creek Lodge are restoring the lodge, cabins, creek, and adjacent riparian edge. In addition, twenty cabins are planned for the upland pine forest area. J.T. Atkins & Company PC was responsible for site planning and design, including site restoration. The site plan responded to the sensitive site conditions identified through the site assessment process and respected the family recreation activity traditions and historic character of the existing lodge and cabins. J.T. Atkins & Company PC also developed hardscape and landscape concepts and plans for renovations to the pool and tennis court and for a new recreation/meeting building.
