Jen BassJennifer Bass Receives Oregon Professional Registration

Jennifer Bass, a junior associate at J.T. Atkins & Company PC, was recently awarded her professional registration from the Oregon State Landscape Architect Board. Jennifer has 5 years of experience preparing landscape and hardscape plans and designs, with a focus on sustainable design, for parks, trails, destination resorts, and institutional, commercial and residential developments. She was responsible for site and landscape design at Caldera Springs Resort, a Memorial Garden in Sisters, and Farewell Bend Park Boardwalk in Bend. She has developed concept alternatives for public spaces at two roadway entry points in Redmond, and designed landscapes and hardscapes for an expansion to the Madras Skate Park. Ms. Bass holds a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture degree from the University of Oregon.

 

Anna Zirker

Anna Zirker Joins J.T. Atkins & Company PC

Anna Zirker, RLA, recently joined J.T. Atkins & Company PC as an associate landscape architect. Anna prepares landscape and hardscape plans and designs for the firm’s clients including the Hood River Waterfront Park Phase II and the City of Redmond’s 6th Street Improvements. Anna has 6 years of experience, most recently as a park planner with the Tualatin Hills Park and Recreation District. She holds a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture degree from the University of Oregon and is a registered landscape architect in Oregon.

 

Maryhill Museum Master PlanMaryhill Museum Master Plan and Site Design

J.T. Atkins & Company PC has recently been selected to provide master planning and site design services for the Maryhill Museum. The master plan is addressing ways to better accommodate outdoor programs and future garden zone development on the 40-acre grounds surrounding the Museum. The site design services will focus on pedestrian circulation and themed garden design.

HR Waterfront ParkHood River Waterfront Park

The firm is  providing landscape architectural design and meeting facilitation services for Phase II of the City of Hood River’s new waterfront park. The new park will expand public recreational access to the Columbia River and will feature an amphitheater for outdoor performances, a Great Lawn for both informal play and passive recreation, a playground, picnic shelters, and restroom and scenic viewpoints. Construction is scheduled to begin in late Summer 2009.
